The City of Gholson will be hosting Spring Clean Up Days on April 24 & 25 at City Hall. *Tires will NOT be accepted during the City’s Spring Clean Up Days. This event gives residents a convenient opportunity to dispose of unwanted items and help keep our community clean and looking its best.

Dumpsters will be available on-site for residents to dispose of household trash and general refuse. This includes typical household items such as furniture, clothing, small appliances, packaging, and other everyday waste generated from normal household activities.

Please note that certain items will NOT be accepted, including:

• *Tires

• Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, motor oil, batteries, etc.)

• Liquid waste or items containing liquids

• Explosives or other unsafe materials

This event is intended for normal household cleanout items only, similar to what is accepted at a municipal landfill.

*🚧 Tire Disposal Information:

Tires will NOT be accepted during the City’s Spring Clean Up Days. However, Commissioner Jones and McLennan County Precinct 3 will be accepting tires at their cleanup event on April 23rd from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, located at 133 N Snider Rd, West, TX 76691. Valid water bill or ID with current address will be needed, and NO Tire Shops/Dealers accepted.
